THE HOTEL

Located in the most beautiful square of Salvador historical centre , the neighborhood of Pelourinho, UNESCO World Heritage, the hotel Villa Bahia is composed by two attached colonial style villas. On one side it face the Church of Sao Francisco (entirely decorated by gold leaves and blue-white tiles) and on the other side the Cathedral of Sao Salvador.

The location is ideal to explore the historical part and the city centre of Salvador, to shop in the many handicrafts boutiques and to enjoy some coconut water directly from the source while waiting for the sun to set.

THE ROOMS

The 17 rooms of the Villa Bahia are luxuriously furnished by unique period pieces and are named after the different cities of Asia, Africa and Europe that influenced Salvador throughout the years.

The most beautiful are Calicute, Goa and Madagascar. Located all on different levels (they are in order from the first floor, to the mezzanine, to the second floor), these three rooms are very spacious and are decorated with a subtle indian flavour, with large tiled bathrooms with both bathtub and shower.

THE RESTAURANT

To complete the scenery: a restaurant with a menu of Bahian specialties, a bar where you can order delicious caipirinhas while enjoying the square view , two inner courtyards with a pool and a caring and precise staff.
The relaxing atmosphere, the attention to details and the enviable location makes it our best choice in Salvador.
