Beyond upscale comforts, Relais Rione Ponte’s core is a permanent exhibition of contemporary art. Here the combination of Art and Hospitality is the epitome of a unique stay.
Rooms, corridors and public areas host a careful selection of Italian and international contemporary artists, with the artistic director of Studio Pivot – Art Hunting and Counseling.
The association – founded by four young specialists of art, architecture and events – has been promoting since 2012 the works of emerging artists in the contemporary art scene.
The curatorial program is divided into two biannual exhibitions. From March 1st to December 1st 2016 Relais Rione Ponte opened the doors of its halls to art with Gaze Out.
Giulia Brena, Eleonora Cerri Sheehan, Eugenia de Petra, Julia Hautojärvi, Chiara Lombardi, Marika Moretti, Valerio Pasquazi, Martina Roncaioli, David Spyridon, Alessia Foreigners and Xueying Zhuang: these are the 11 photographers featured in the exhibition. All students of the Fine Arts RUFA, Rome University of Fine Arts.
Through pop and black and white style are narrated details, memories and forms in an adolescent look at reality, full of contradictions. An exploration and a search of the real world from the point of you we only get at a young age.
Next Opening November 30th: Luca di Luzio solo exhibition. In collaboration with White Noise Gallery.
