Are you searching for a place in London where to dine alfresco even if outside is snowing? The solution exists and it’s called Coppa Club.
Open from early morning until late at night, seven days a week, the Coppa Club London has a menu focused on thoughtful, unfussy, European food. From small plates and snacks to grilled mains, sourdough pizzas and healthy salads.
For your great pleasure, you can choose among four Coppa Clubs: three in London and one in Thames Street, West Berkshire.
Admore the Tower Bridge from Crystal Igloos
After your city tour around London, go and relax in Lower Thames Street, just in front of the Tower Bridge. While booking, make sure to be seated outside, on the terrace. In fact, here you can step down in some marvellous crystal igloos popping up on the building’s roof. Be prepared for the wonderful sight that will meet your eyes when you’ll take a seat on the spacious terrace at night: the shining Tamigi covered by the impressive white star of the Tower Bridge.
Otherwise, you can also go to the Coppa Club in Market Place, just a few feet away from Piccadilly Circus. Here you can taste delicious nibbles such as sticky chorizo sausages with honey, mustard and smoked paprika glaze or vegan crispy fried truffled gnocchi.
Elizabethan Style: Sonning Coppa Club
If you really want to have an experience that combines the new millennium taste with the typical old British style, you have to go and see the Coppa Club in West Berkshire. Housed on the ground floor of a Grade II listed building, a former Elizabethan coaching inn, the club of Sonning-on-Thames features a long, curved pewter bar. Original fireplaces and velvet sofas spread all around the separate workspace and table seating. From the large garden, you can see the Tamigi river and decide to spend the night near there, at the Great House Hotel.
Food and Relax, from Breakfast to Midnight
Specialised in breakfast and lunch, the club offers many and many dishes all day long, at least until 10 PM. And prices are really suitable! A super bowl of quinoa, almonds, alfalfa, avocado with citrus fruits, spinach and seeds costs 7.95 pounds. A porridge with banana and maple syrup costs 4.45 pounds and a pressed juice with apple, lemon and ginger just 4.95 pounds.
For brunch, at Coppa Club you can find different and appetizing delicacies. From a simple bruschetta with ripe tomatoes, garlic toast and extra virgin olive oil to a gorgeous corn-fed chicken with lemony rosemary juices, house slaw and skinny fries. From the Coppa Club Burger with British beef, soft glazed bun, lettuce, tomato, mature Cheddar, pickles, burger sauce and skinny fries to linguine with fresh crab, capers, chilli, parsley and cherry tomatoes to Margherita pizza.
Coppa Club Drinks
Obviously, at the club beverages are of high quality too. Fine wines like Pinot Bianco, Sauvignon Blanc, Chateau Miraval, Shiraz and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo can be ordered off the menu, along with Bollinger champagne and both inventive and fashioned cocktails.
Lastly, the club has got a soft spot for children, to whom it dedicates a special menu.
