The nineteenth-century Circolo degli Artisti is headquartered inside Palazzo Graneri della Roccia, home of the first court chaplain Marc’Antonio Graneri d’Entremont. Since 2006 this institution has been accompanied by one of the most famous Italian readers circles: the Circolo dei Lettori Torino.
A CONTEMPORARY INSTITUTION IN A MEMORABLE PLACE
Crossing the entrance of 9 via Bogino, in the heart of Turin, the antique charm will welcome you. The Circolo dei Lettori was born eleven years ago under the auspices of the region and the guide of Maurizio Rebola and Luca Beatrice. It arises as a dynamic cultural center, open to the changing demands of contemporary culture. An institution that aspires to be a link between tradition and future, between old certainties and electrifying news. All from an unique perspective. Indeed, today as never before readers discover innovative ways of using the same text. From the solitude of the form-book to the shared reading. From the tablet screen to the reproduction by media.
