ICE HOTEL, SWEDEN
A three days package at the Ice Hotel in Sweden is perfect for those looking for a memorable experience. Located 200 km northern than the Arctic Pole Circle, the Ice Hotel was built for the first time in 1989. Every year it melts in spring and it is built back in October. The temperature inside the hotel is between -8 and -4 Celsius degrees. But if you are chilly, don’t worry, the hotel has also a heated building where you can sleep.
The hotel also organizes many activities such as dogsled safaris and walks in the hood in search of elks. Don’t miss the night excursion to admire the aurora borealis: simply marvellous.
To reach the Ice Hotel you have to fly to Kiruna (KRN) with a stopover in Stockholm.
Three nights package (one night in the iced rooms and two night in the regular ones) starting from 1200 Euros for two people, with breakfast, safari, sauna and other activities included. To have more information: www.icehotel.com (Marknadsvägen 63, 981 91 Jukkasjärvi, Sweden; Tel +46 (0) 980 668 00)
